      Job Summary:

      We are based in Parow Industrial and are looking to hire someone with previous experience in stock. Due to the location of the offices, the ideal candidate should reside within the Parow, Elsies Rivier, Goodwood, Bellville and Belhar area. This role is ideal for a multi-tasker as you will be required to perform several duties and responsibilities not limited to but including:


      Work Area Maintenance & Safety:

      Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to established safety protocols and guidelines. Promote a culture of safety awareness among colleagues and actively participate in maintaining a hazard-free workplace.

      Support In General Duties & Production:

      Assist with various general duties, including providing support to temporary florists, ED/RA production, and other production tasks as needed. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and production processes.

      Load Picking, Pulling & Dispatch:

      Assist in the accurate picking, pulling, and dispatching of stock in alignment with established procedures. Contribute to the timely movement of goods to meet production and delivery requirements.

      Substitutions & BOM Error Management:

      Handle all substitutions and address BOM error reports within your assigned department. Ensure prompt resolution of issues and maintain accurate documentation of actions taken.

      Office Equipment Operation:

      Proficiently operate standard office equipment necessary for your tasks. Utilize equipment effectively to support administrative and operational functions.

      Goods Handling & Storage:

      Safely and correctly store, label, and secure goods within the warehouse, optimizing space utilization. Maintain an organized inventory arrangement to facilitate easy access and retrieval.

      Fulfil all administrative duties related to your assigned department accurately and within specified timelines.

      Contribute to the efficient flow of documentation and information within the department.

      Receiving & Discrepancy Reporting:

      Verify received stock against delivery notes and promptly communicate any discrepancies to the manager and head office. Ensure that discrepancies are documented and addressed with attention to detail.

      Inventory Management & Counts:

      Perform daily inventory spot checks and counts to uphold inventory accuracy. Engage in daily self-maintenance and merchandising tasks to maintain a presentable inventory appearance.

      Accurate Inventory Handling:

      Execute inventory counts with precision to maintain accurate stock levels. Strive for excellence in inventory accuracy to support optimal operational efficiency.

      Invoice Processing & Variances:

      Upload and process invoices and transfers accurately and within established timeframes. Assist in investigating and addressing inventory variances to ensure data integrity.

      Floral On/Off Action Process:

      Attend to and maintain the floral on/off action process to sustain online sales and address stock availability challenges daily. Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure optimal stock levels and accurate online representation.

      Pastel Data Capture & Variance Processing:

      Capture and process count variances in Pastel before daily deadlines to uphold up-to-date and accurate inventory records. Ensure timely and accurate data entry to maintain data integrity.

      Wastage Processing:

      Capture and process daily wastages before the end of the day to maintain an accurate and updated inventory database. Contribute to minimizing inventory discrepancies through accurate wastage processing. Full training for this position will be provided.

      Requirements:

    • Reliable with good time management.
    • Must be able to work shifts, weekends and night shifts over occasions when rostered.
    • Able to work overtime when required.
    • Reliable mode of transport to and from work.
    • Computer literate (Excel, word, google sheets, etc.)
    • Good phone etiquette.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Attention to detail and able to follow managers instructions.
    • Able to take initiative when required.
    • You must be friendly, a hard worker and able to work in a team and alone.

In this role, you will be a vital part of our team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and effectively managing various aspects of customer interactions.     Responsibilities:

  • Handle most customer queries from the Customer Care department
  • Contact clients to verify addresses if incorrect on the Master Product Availability (MPA) system
  • Communicate with clients regarding substitutions when stock is unavailable
  • Assist in temporary driver recruitment
  • Train all temporary drivers who are recruited
  • Clear the previous day's dashboard in the morning if necessary

    We are looking for a proactive self-motivated individual to join our print team. The ideal candidate should work well under pressure, be skilled in managing print materials and have experience with various printing machines and equipment. Under general supervision, the position operates various machines to produce print jobs according to specific instructions as outlined in the request sheet, from start to finish. Responsible for helping maintain the efficient running of the print department by ensuring the print orders are executed according to established timeframes, consumable supplies are amply stocked and machines are properly maintained. Review, prioritize and submit print requests according to complexity and urgency. Ensure that the output is quality checked and accurately meets the instructions as submitted by customers. Using printer software, create artwork batched files for print-on-demand orders. Willingness to work overtime and shifts is an essential prerequisite for the position as and when required.


    Main duties & Responsibilities:

    • Operating and maintaining various digital printing machines and branding equipment.
    • Manage machine speed, monitor toner, colour, finish and adjust to maintain quality.
    • Prepare, set up, change over and restart machines with new jobs as required.
