Show your love with roses

Roses are probably the most classic type of flower out there, which is why they are the subject of many poems, songs, and gifts. Without roses, the world would simply be dull and boring, and it wouldn’t be as easy to express love. These gorgeous wonders come in a variety of lovely colours including red roses, pink roses, cream roses and even black roses! If you are planning on growing roses in your garden, you are in for a real treat but you may need some help. Here are a couple of pointers that lends itself to the success of growing and raising roses:
·  Roses grow best in well-aerated soil which drains well.
· The reality is that few gardens have naturally good soil with the perfect combination of clay soil, gravel, sand and humus.
· Drainage is often an issue in many gardens due to subsoil consisting of clay or solid rock that does not easily allow much water to penetrate.
· Roses do not like standing in water and they do not like to be grown in hard and compacted soil.
· Raised rose beds offer the perfect solution to drainage problems.
· Raised rose beds make it easier to obtain the right mix of soil.
-A built-up rose bed should be at least 30 to 50 cm above the original soil and lawn surface.

Roses are a wonderful addition to any garden and are a real delight; so take care of them and they will reward you richly.
