Experience the thrill of sliding across the top of Ysterhout Gorge in zig-zag formation from 11 platforms joined by 10 cabled slides up to 140m long and in places 30 m above the canopy floor. It is an Eco Adventure Activity without equal.

Tours last ± 2.5hr and include two trained guides and a refreshment on tour as well as a light meal at Hadedas fast food restaurant.

The tour consists of about a kilometre long "foefie" slide divided up into separate slides of varying lengths. Slides are joined together by platforms built high on the cliff faces of the 2,500 year old Magaliesberg mountain range. Slides of up to 140m long provide unforgettable rides and spectacular views.

General Information

• Canopy Tours depart every half an hour from 6:30 am to 4:30pm in summer and 7:30am to 3:00pm in winter – bookings must be made in advance. Guests are requested to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure
• Safety is paramount and the system has been built to the highest civil engineering standards. All equipment is state of the art and guides are fully trained
• All guests may be asked to sign an indemnity on commencement of the adventure – all additional standard terms and conditions apply
• All safety briefings and all safety equipment is provided
• All bookings subject to availability
• Cancellations within 48 hours of the booked experience will be charged for in full or can be moved to another available date
• The tour takes about 3 hours to complete. Persons aged from 7 to 70
• Please wear comfortable clothes (jeans, knee shorts or Capri pants and t-shirts with short sleeves). Closed shoes (takkies or Rocky sandals, no flip flops or plakkies)
• Cameras are welcome. All bags, rug-sack, cell phones, keys or any other loose items are to be left in the car or in our office. (At own risk)
• Self Service Restaurant and Bar facilities are available on the licensed premises.
• In cases of inclement weather conditions, tours will be rescheduled
• NO Pregnant women are allowed to partake in the canopy tours
