The adventure includes a 25m cliff abseil onto the banks of the river next to the first rapid in the Phalingigwe Nature Reserve which is only 45 minutes from Johannesburg and Pretoria.

The abseil is conducted from the last and most magnificent lookout point on the Phalindigwe Nature Reserve hiking trail providing a birds-eye view of the rapids as they snake their way through the ancient crags

Guests can descend down the cliff face more than once and there are two ways of reaching the top again:

• A leisurely walk or
• A steep supervised scramble that gets very close to a Grade 8 solo rock climb (the latter is optional and at the discretion of the supervisor)

• Mobile Adventures is located at a venue on the banks of the Crocodile River en-route to the Hartebeespoort Dam. The Phalindigwe Nature Reserve is only 45 minutes from Johannesburg and Pretoria
• All guests may be asked to sign an indemnity on commencement of the adventure – all additional standard terms and conditions apply
• All safety briefings and all safety equipment is provided
• No previous experience is needed as all the river guides are super-trained and the abseiling is conducted by internationally qualified supervisors
• Refreshments are included with the experience
• The trip takes approximately 2 hours to complete
• All bookings subject to availability
• On confirmation of booking, body weight of participants is required
• Cancellations within 48 hours of the booked experience will be charged for in full or can be moved to another available date
