Terms and Conditions - discovery/mall and NetFlorist

The following terms and conditions relate to the discovery/mall NetFlorist offer

  1. The promoter of this special offer is discovery/mall and NetFlorist (will be referred to as "the Promoter" from here on).
  2. All offers are subject to availability while stocks last.
  3. All special offers are available to all Discovery Vitality members with a DiscoveryCard who have activated the Discovery Miles benefit, who stay in South Africa, are over the age of 18, do not have a criminal record and his/her DiscoveryCard account is in good standing.  The account is in good standing if it is open, active and not in arrears for more than one month.  Your account will be regarded as not being in good standing if you are undergoing debt counselling.
  4. If DiscoveryCard holders, who have activated the Discovery Miles benefit, purchase featured products through discovery/mall from NetFlorist, they can stand in line to win one of three Festive Hampers.
  5. Directors, partners, employees or agents of the promoter or any other person similarly connected are not eligible to enter.
  6. The winners of the prizes will be selected by a random system generated draw and verified by an independent auditor by DiscoveryCard.  This draw will take place in December 2013 and the prize winners will be contacted by telephone.  If the winners cannot be contacted within 48 hours then a replacement winner/s will be chosen.
  7. Prizes are not transferrable and exchangeable and if not taken up for any reason, may be forfeited, the subject of a separate draw or allocated at the Promoter’s discretion to another winner.
  8. The winners, with their consent, may be required to appear and be identified in or on national and regional media at no fee.  The name of the winners may be published on our website.  The prize winners also have the option to decline appearing and/or being mentioned in national or regional media and will not forfeit the prize should they wish to do so.
  9. The Promoter reserves the right to replace discounts/special offers with another product of similar commercial value.
  10. The Promoter reserves the right to revise, alter, cancel or amend offers at any time and with prior notice and shall not be liable for any claims whatsoever arising out of such cancellation, termination or alteration to the extent permissible by law.
  11. If required as a result of legislation or other legal reasons, the Promoter reserves the right to terminate offers immediately.  In the event of such termination, all Discovery Vitality and DiscoveryCard holders who shop on discovery/mall agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of any promotion/special offer.  They acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoter or their agents.
  12. The Promoter will not be held liable for any misrepresentation caused due to an unintentional copy error, typing error and/or omission that may occur on any of our special offer/promotional material.
  13. Any purchases made on discovery/mall using your DiscoveryCard will entitle you to earn Discovery Miles should you have activated the Discovery Miles option, unless you pay with your Discovery Miles.  For Discovery Miles terms and conditions click here.
  14. If you do not have Discovery Miles, you can activate and start earning them immediately but will only be allocated in your next billing cycle.  To activate Discovery Miles click here or simply call 0860 11 2273.
  15. You are able to make payment of all your discovery/mall or NetFlorist purchases using your Discovery Miles and/or DiscoveryCard.
  16. Discovery Vitality and DiscoveryCard members, with an active Vitality policy who shop on discovery/mall or NetFlorist, agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
