Spring Equinox

Spring Equinox

September 22 marks the Spring equinox which is the exact moment in time or point rather when the sun crosses the celestial equator in to the Southern Hemisphere (AKA Us) and we can finally stop complaining about the cold and start to bask in the sun.

This year the spring equinox will take place on the 22nd of September at 20.44pm. We use the September Equinox to mark out the tropical year which roughly translates in to the amount of time it takes the sun to return to the original point in the sky thus also measuring the seasons.
If you are wondering why we here at NetFlorist thought the Spring Equinox was a good thing to blog about then you are not as smart as you thought you were; we need to know these tiny tid bits in order to know which flowers will bloom when – in terms of seasons. Just imagine if we didn’t know what season was when and what flowers bloomed then? Our business would flounder and we’d be in a bigger mess than the Titanic and that was pretty messy.
But since we are on the ball so to speak we will not sink in an icy ocean, we will be able to send you only the best flowers that Mother Nature and our flower gurus have to offer you.
We are pleased to be able to offer you only the best seasonal flowers and arrangements with a prime and premium petal selection that is fit for a kings ball or a diplomatic party – even fit for your Mother-in-laws candle lit supper with light entertainment.
What ever you need your flowers for, whether you want to say Congratulations or  send sympathy flowers and condolences, NetFlorist has the arrangement for you.
